The First Hello
Ryan and Olivia met through his older brother Davis and her mom, Tiffany. After Davis mentioned Olivia to Ryan, he sent her a DM on Instagram saying, "Sooo long story short, your mom told my brother (I guess they work together) that I needed to meet you and I never ignore a mother's orders."

First Date
About three weeks after that fateful DM, they went on their first date to Wasabi Sushi. Olivia's mom Tiffany recalls Olivia coming home and stating that it was the best first date she had ever been on.

Making It Official
After continuing to date over the month, Ryan asked Olivia to be his girlfriend in the Holiday gas station parking lot, complete with her favorite Red Bull in hand.

The First "I Love You"
The night before Ryan left for the summer to Portland, they shared their first "I love you." They had been teasing it for months, but the timing felt right as they prepared to start four months of long distance.

The Proposal
On the west side of Oahu, Ryan's dad Gary abruptly pulled the car over to a "random" beach under the guise of taking sunset photos. Olivia realized what was happening when she saw the blankets and their soon-to-be wedding song playing. After she accepted, her oldest brother Austin popped out from his hiding spot in the bushes where he was taking photos!

On a beach on the west side of Oahu, with the sunset, their song playing, and Austin hiding in the bushes — the moment was absolutely perfect.
